Meet Our Director - Dee Chaffee

Dee Chaffee is a graduate from Jacksonville University with a degree in Elementary Education with over 20+ years of experience in the preschool environment, both as a teacher and Director.

She has written a State Accreditation Program, holds a Director's Credential and has participated in early literacy training.

Her goal in life is to help each child achieve his/her potential, believing that a child who is loved will grow.

It is my great pleasure to have served in many capacities within the child care community for a period of more than 25 years. Prior to entering the world of preschool, my teaching experience was here in Duval County where I taught for a period of 6 years.

My mission and the mission of Southpoint, is to prepare each child with the foundation for learning, to screen and assess for stumbling blocks, and to provide the love each child needs in our "Home Away From Home".
